🎓 What Are Turkey Scholarships?

Turkey Scholarships is a fully-funded government program offered to international students by the Republic of Turkey. It provides both academic and cultural support, giving students the opportunity to study in Turkey.

• Administered by: Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB)

• 2026 Application Period: January 10 – February 20

🎯 Who Can Apply?

• Non-Turkish citizens or those who have lost Turkish citizenship

• Age and academic requirements by study level:

• Applicants must not have previously studied in Turkey at the same level

💼 Which Programs Are Covered?

• Associate Degree

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Master’s Degree

• Doctorate (PhD)

All fields (social sciences, engineering, arts, etc.) are eligible.

💰 Turkey Scholarships Benefits

• Free university enrollment

• Full tuition coverage

• Monthly stipend:

  • Bachelor’s: ~4,500 TL

  • Master’s: ~6,500 TL

  • PhD: ~9,000 TL

• Health insurance

• Accommodation / dorm support

• 1 year free Turkish language course

• Round-trip flight tickets

• Access to cultural and academic programs

✈️ Flight Ticket Support

Turkey Scholarships also covers students’ travel expenses to and from Turkey:

• Departure: At the start of preparatory or academic program

• Return: After completing the program

• Note: Additional travel during breaks is generally not covered

🧾 Required Documents

• Valid passport

• Diploma and transcripts (translated & certified)

• Recent photograph

• Motivation/statement of purpose letter

• Recommendation letters (for Master’s/PhD applicants)

• Research proposal (for PhD applicants)

Note: Language tests (IELTS/TOEFL) are not required, as the 1-year Turkish preparatory program is included.

ALS does not sell scholarships. Students pay ALS for professional guidance that increases their chance of success.

Our services include:

• Pre-application consulting fee: $150 (non-refundable)

💰 5-Year Scholarship Benefits (Example: 1-Year Prep + 4-Year Bachelor)

• Tuition: $5,000

• Accommodation: $24,000

• Health insurance: $250

• Round-trip flight: $1,000

Total support & savings: $30,250

📆 Evaluation Process

• Application period: January 10 – February 20

• Evaluation: March – May

• Interviews: Via consulate or relevant authorities

• Results announced: August

• Program starts: September
